In Croatia, L'Oreal is present since 2002 under company L'Oreal
Adria which sells and promotes 16 brands throughout Croatia,
Slovenia, BiH and Albania. L'Oreal Adria employees 133 people and
outsources the distribution component of its supply chain to a
network of independent firms who concurrently distribute L'Oreal
brands as well as other labels they distribute.
Business challenge faced
A large number of distributors in the network, spread over
thousands of sales locations in four countries were resulting in
congestion in the transmission of information and were slowing down
overall sales process.
L'Oreal Adria sought for a sales force automation
solution that would solve these problems and give them better
insight into distribution of L'Oreal products from Matrix brand. In
the same time they were looking for a way to:
- strengthen their relationships with end-users,
- track all sales operations in real time and
- provide top-managers from Zagreb and Paris with a
